No home should be without a Vette... or two!

Here are some photos of our two customized Corvettes. Mine is the yellow Vette, hubby's is the Blue Vette.
We built the cars our self, but Chris Cruz in Deland Florida did the trick painting, after we did the basic color. After Chris finished his thing, we each of the Vettes home, completely disassembled them. Clear coated with Acrylic Lacquer, sanded, sanded some more, then several weeks of machine buffing and hand polishing before we reassembled them. Both cars were truly labors of love.

This is a side view of the '80.
This is a view of the Engine. DH(dear hubby) did all the metal work, what he couldn't make we had chromed.
Notice the low profile B&M blower. The car runs like a scalded dog!!

People are always asking if that's me.. Don't I wish (actually, doesn't DH wish! hehehe)
This view shows a close up of the murals on the top of the hood.
Both Vettes at a car show in Silver Springs, FL. DH brought home a 10 foot trophy, I bought home a 8 foot trophy (yeap, he beat me, but that was the last time, I putting a hurting on him at every car show we went to -- with both cars -- from there on out!)
Yeap, this is my vette. It's an 84 fully Customized Corvette
Another view of my vette
This is the under carriage of my Vette. This shot was taking with the Vette on the car lift
Speaking of Lifts, ever wonder how you get two vettes in a one car garage?... stack em!

This is a close up of the werewolf on the bottom (apare tire cover) of my Vette. Notice the earring he wears. It's to ward off evil spirits and omens. Oh well, what ever! He's pretty wicked.
This is a shot of our trophy room. It houses many, many trophies, most are 6 foot or larger. There are several dozen 8 to 10 foot trophies. The room is 22 by 22, to give you an ideal of the amount of trophies in there. Several hundred smaller ones are in the attic. I got tired of dusting them.

How to park two cars in a one car garage
We notched the ceiling in the garage so that the '80 would nest in it.
