Back in 2001 when our club voted to allow glass to be sold at our shows, I had no it would ever apply to me. As for the bead making, I us coe 96 glass rods, and a Notrel torch. The beads are kiln annealed several hours for strength and durability. I hate I'm such a horrible photographer, I would love to have gotten close-ups so you could see the dichroic glass inside the fish bodies. The more whimsical (okay, ugly) they are the better they sell. Regrettably I didn't get a chance to take photos of the bracelets or necklaces I made from my other glass work beads. I was absolutely thrilled that my new art venture was received so well by the public, and better yet, it sold! |
