	This is a photo of the 6mm foam I use for the bases of my ornaments/eggs. It's tuff enough to handle the hot glue and strong enough to support the mini figurines that I love to use. Sometimes I will use thin Styrofoam board as the base. I mark the disk F for front, B for back, and cut out the disk with a pair of scissors.
	This is the "foam" disk after its been cut. You can see the thickness.
	Not good... the objective is to conceal the "base" as much as possible.
	Try to get the "base" flush with the lip of the porcelain.
	This is how the base should look after the trimming. I will press the base down (area shown with arrows) to get it even with the lowest point of the porcelain and then hot glue it in place.
