As soon as dh makes an adjustment on my camera I will re-shoot some photos. I took two disks full yesterday but I didn't like the way they turned out. A few weeks ago, I bought an EZCube to photograph my ornaments and jewelry (to give my stuff a more professional look on the web).
Yesterday I was trying to figure out how to close the darn thing (it collapes "flat" like some of the sun visors for car dash boards), so I had to go to the EZCube web site to find instructions. While I was looking for those instructions, I read some other tips. One of them said if you are using a white background but it looks blue or grey, you don't have the settings set to allow enough background light in.
Well Duh! My backgounds have always been blue/grey. So, I asked dh if he could make an adjustment, he said there he could, there was a whole section about "EV (Exposure Value)" and that he'd probably move my camera settings up to EV2. Huh?
I'll give it another try AFTER I put the Christmas decorations up today. Can you believe it? Seems like we just took them down!
