PIP finished photos Lace Drape

To describe how the yellow lace drape experiment turned ... out in one word... BUMMER. The lace all but melted off the figurine. Photos are in the PIP.
I believe I had thinned my slip down just a bit too much. That's all it would take to create the problem.
The lavender and white doll lace drape doll did fine. I will not fire her as hot (I glazed fired her with the Lladro figurine to cone 2 to save on an extra firing) the next time. Cone 06 is perfectly fine. She came dangerously close to loosing her clothes too because of the 2nd high fire.
Also a photo of the iddy biddy roses I made for Elvira (Lladro). Took me longer to make them than to paint the piece!
The ringlets would work, provided you left them White. Dipping them in the Spanish oil resulted in the cotton turning MUCH darker than the greenware where the hair was. But if you are going to china paint the hair, the ringlets without the spanish oil will work for sure.
