Making some progress

The kitchen is finally moving forward! You can actually walk thru the living room now. We had all the cabinets, new sink, and old cabinets sitting in there. Joe finished installing the last of the wall cabinets Saturday. We put the old cabinets out for the trash man last night. I believe the hardest part is behind us now.
He has the glass brick in place so he can start making new counter tops today. I suspect it will take the entire month of July for him to cut all the tile and then lay it. Gesh, we have changed colors so many times it's not even funny! The color of the sink turned out much lighter than we expected. It's called sky blue (its a light grayish blue). I wanted Cobalt blue, but they don't have that color in the sink I wanted. But Kohler's website showed it in cobalt. It was a sample only. GRRRRR.
After the tile is down, we will install the sink, stove, dishwasher and food disposal, and base cabinets. The base cabinets will be a snap since they don't have lights in them. We put little iddy biddy eyeball lights under each cabinet to light the counter tops.
I am still glazing tile. I'll have to wait on dh to finish cutting the tile before I can glaze any more of it.
And I can not begin to tell you how many hundreds of ornaments I have poured, cleaned, fired and shipped these past few months! Next week I'll need to start making some for me to sell at November show.
