Actually he did make/use a frame to support one end but I had to hold the wall board in place while he positioned it and then drilled it to the furring strips.

He wanted to keep the wall boards in one piece so he wouldn't have so much taping and patching to do. Had he cut them in half it wouldn't have been so heavy, but he's still be patching and sanding.
