Hi, Di, Thanks for asking. My Mom passed away this morning at about 4:15 am. We went to the funeral home to make arrangements today. Her funeral will be next weekend so that all the family can be there. She was a wonderful lady. I was blessed with 2 wonderful parents that I will miss greatly. I'm so lucky to have had them as long as I did. My Dad was 94 1/2 when he passed away in 2002 on March 29 (he had alzheimers) and my Mom was 89 when she passed away today, March 28. My sister and I thought she was waiting for my Dad's "anniversay" of his death. For over a week now she asked us what day it was every day. I told her that my dad passed away on the 29th (I checked the death certificate). She insisted it was the 28th. And in the end, that is the day she made it to so I guess she was telling us in her own way. I'll still be here in Va. Beach all week and then go home sometime after next Saturday. My boys and daughter in law, husband and best friend from Cary (I've known her over 30 years) are here now. My best friend will stay all week (her husband will come up next friday) and the rest of my family will go home and come back Friday.
