Hi, If my hubby didn't fly for the airlines, I wouldn't be going to Sweden either, but the hotel was paid for - all we paid was food, the ferry ride and the train ride back to the airport. That still added up (with prices in Europe being more than here - imagine that!). That's why the trip was so short. My hubby was the Captain going over, one day off, and the Captain coming back. He retires June 23 (forced to at age 60) but is looking for more work. May end up working out of Germany for a year or 2.
