Went to Vegas Bead Faire on friday with a bunch of girls was disappointed trying to find focal beads and the price they had on their stuff was way to high. Didn't get much off my list even findings were running .55 a gram and that was the cheapest vendor there. The lampwork people were charging as much as 55.00 a bead some bargin ones as low as 11.00 but nothing that was really worth the price. Alot of the work was sloppy. Was alot of gem and rock stuff too. By the time we finished going to two hotels it was to late to check out the bead stores up there. Left here at 6:30am and never made it home till 11:30pm. Long day. Not alot of shoppers either so suppose they've been before and knew how bad the prices are. Most of the good vendors for beading are at the bead and button show in milwaukee this week so only one seed bead dealer and she really jacked up her prices and didn't have any numbers on my list. Sometimes I think it would be nice to know how to do my own lampwork instead of paying such terrible prices for it. It's seems that we don't pick alot of projects that need those focal beads for that reason alone. Am waiting to see your pictures.
