I have been making porcelain dolls since 1988 when I fell in love with a Sugar Britches that I saw sitting in the window of a ceramic shop. I took classes just so that I could make her.
I found this website several years ago when I was having trouble applying a wash to an antique repro Bru head I was working on. Di walked me through that problem as well as coached me when I finally got my own kiln.
I feel blessed to have visited Florida twice to take seminars and meet Di and some of the rest of the gals.
I am married to a wonderful husband, and have two children, a 20-year-old daughter and an 18-year-old son.
